Simulink Modeling
Simulink is a graphical programming tool that simplifies the generation and debugging
of a mathematical simulation model. Within it, mathematical relationships (gains, summations,
feedback loops, etc.) can be viewed in a flow-chart-type environment for easy addition,
modification, and simulation.
The one problem with Simulink is that its simulations cannot easily be compiled and thus
disseminated throughout an engineering team without each member of the team having his own,
or access to a common, Matlab Simulink license. For this reason, Lenduch LLC is migrating to
equation-based models that can be solved via calls to one of the standard Matlab solvers
(ode45, for example).
However, if you need assistance generating or debugging a Simulink model, especially one
involving a mechanical or electromechanical system, Lenduch LLC may be able to assist you.
